Your First Appointment: We want to get the most out of the time that we have with you, so please arrive 30 minutes before your first scheduled appointment as there will be some paperwork to complete. Some of the paperwork will include a Health History form linked below. You can download it if you would like to fill it out ahead of time. Your first appointment usually takes about an hour.
Follow up appointments: For physical, occupational and speech therapy appointments, arriving 5 – 10 minutes early will help us stay on schedule and ensure we have adequate time with you. Follow up appointments usually range from 30 to 60 minutes, your therapist will talk with you about this so you know what to expect.
Massage Appointments: For all appointments after your first massage, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. The massage therapist will conduct a pre- and post- massage interview for each session to ensure continued efficient service to meet your goals for the session. We ask that you include this extra time into your schedule to ensure your full time for massage.
What to Wear: For Physical and Occupational Therapy: Please bring or wear loose fitting clothing and good footwear. As a general rule, clothing that you would be comfortable exercising in works best.
For Massage Therapy: It does not matter what you wear to the clinic. During a table massage you will be fully draped, except for the area being treated. It is your choice whether or not you will be clothed, but massage works best on direct skin contact. Modifications can always be made to suit your comfort level, safety, and security needs. This is discussed and understood before the massage begins. During a Chair Massage you will be fully clothed.
